I was unemployed for about 5 months when I got the interview for my current job. After going to interview after interview, I was becoming less and less confident I would find a great job. When I interviewed at the Academy, I didn't think I was getting a call back, but I did and it all worked out. Moving to San Francisco also has been one of the best life changes, and I'm happier now than I have ever been.
look what came in the mail for me today??? I can't wait to wear them. :D

I really like my outfit today! I got the dress at a local shop by work called Paragraph. I shop there often because of the cute clothes and jewelry. One of the girls that works there designs jewelry, really fun stuff. I almost bought the dress a while ago but decided it was a little pricey for a cotton dress. I had some time to waste one day last week after lunch, so I stopped in to see the new stuff in the window. I walk in and see SALE!!! It can never hurt to look in a sale rack, right? Low and behold, the dress is there and marked down $20!! Woo! I also trimmed my bangs a little too short...I really do look like a medieval warrior haha
The bees on our roof have been really busy! So busy the made several gallons of honey. We are giving each staff member a 2oz jar, trustees get a larger 6 oz jar (pictured). I designed the label and added the raffia bow. Love it!!
Omg I am so sick of these Asian girls that always stand in the fucking aisles of the bus and don't MOVE when someone is coming to the back of the bus. Yeah I squished you into the pole bitch, you were in the damn way!!! GET SOME MANNERS!!!
Waiting for my appointment and above said Mr. Cranky rips into the receptionist because she asked if he had any other medical insurance. "Why are you asking me this??? That is private information!!!"
Hey dickwad, she's just doing her job and its their procedure. And now there are some other a-holes ripping into her. Omg I hate people!!!!!
We're laying in bed and left the door ajar. Chihuly keeps popping her face in to check on us.

This guy totally hit me with his stupid backpack because his dumb ass wouldn't move to the back of the bus when there were like 5 seats!! I was trying to get by when he turned quickly and smashed me into the back door pole. Well hey jerko the internets now knows you're an ass so nyah!

A prime example of Pink Floyd's original and touching lyrics. It's my favorite song (probably of all time), and it reminds me of my dad, so every time it comes on, I know he's thinking of me.
This song with the following on the album, Eclipse, is my favorite part of Dark Side of the Moon. The quirkiness of Brain Damage always makes me smile, but it's dark and deranged at the same time with the crazy man laughing in the background. Eclipse is the mellow closing that Brain Damage transitions into, and when the song is over, it just seems right.
Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd
I love the guitar solos in this song. You can feel how much Roger Waters (founder, guitarist and lyricist) put into this album, and particularly this song. It's emotional, hopeful and dark at the same time.
